Lagoon has been pushing the standards of the cruising catamarans industry for 30 years, pursuing one goal: creating safe, comfortable and enjoyable living spaces on the sea. Its innovative, friendly and laid-back approach propelled the brand as worldwide leader of the category.
Today the catamaran industry is booming, seducing a large panel of customers looking for easy, family-oriented and reliable boats.
Organically growing for 3 decades, Lagoon needed to clarify its posture and improve its image to face an ever more challenging competition.
After getting to know the brand better through a round of internal interviews and workshops, we formalized its essence so that everyone internally could share the same vision of it and work consistently to communicate it externally.
In parallel, we did a full rebranding work to bring back more desirability, boldness and premiumness into the Lagoon assets : simplified while magnified icon and logo, allowing the brand to exist in volume; rejuvenated color palette ; custom-made font family ; and inspiring hand-drawn patterns starring the brand identifiers – the palm leaf and the lagoon – celebrating the essence of the brand in its particular laid-back style. We have also created and defined the brand iconographic style: product shooting, lifestyle photo, 3D visuals for the whole range, boat layouts style.
Showcasing all this work, we have created for Lagoon, a complete and performing digital ecosystem including: front & back office, offline site, professional site (dealers/rentals) and media site. A deep and global work successfully lead for nearly 9 months.
